Gilat Lavian
General Counsel
Gilat Lavian is General Counsel for iAngels, bringing more than 12 years of legal and business experience.
Previously, Gilat worked as an associate at Naschitz, Brandes, Amir & Co, a top tier Israeli law firm practicing corporate and commercial law, mergers & acquisitions, venture capital transactions and private financings. As an associate, Gilat represented startups throughout their growth stages, as well as established global companies and investors.
Prior to that, Gilat served as a product manager and customer success team leader in Matrix, the largest IT company in Israel, focused on innovative solutions for the Israeli Air Force.
During her time in the military, Gilat served as an Operations Officer in the Israeli Air Force and as a Reserve Officer for over a decade. She was the first female Operations Officer to receive the rank of Captain during reserve service.
Gilat holds an LL.M. (summa cum laude) in Commercial Law, an LL.B. (cum laude) and B.A. (cum laude) in Business from Reichman University, majoring in Information Technology. She was chosen as the Class of 2012 Valedictorian.
