Israel’s iAngels amasses $55.5M for debut institutional fund

Female-led VC firm and investment platform iAngels has closed its first institutional fund on $55.5 million. The vehicle was anchored by a $25 million investment from the European Investment Fund. The firm targets high-tech startups in Israel and has more than $300 million in assets under management.

The fund is supported by InnovFin Equity, with the financial backing of the European Union under Horizon 2020 Financial Instruments.
