Seed Rounds

  • Unomy, a B2B sales tool raised $1.4m from AltaIR, Janvest, and LETA Capital
  • Cyber 2.0, a stealth cyber company raised $1.5m from Hertzel Ozer
  • AppFront, a mobile app creating a channel between customers and restaurants, raised $1.5m from 500 Startups, Barak Rabinowitz, and Philippe Lang

Series A Rounds

  • Hibob, a cloud-based HR software, raised $7.5m led by Bessemer, with participation from LocalGlobe and Taavet Hinrikus
  • Switch, the tinder for job seekers, raised $4m led by Rhodium, Marker, and DFJ Frontier

Growth Rounds

  • Zimperium, a cybersecurity company focused on protecting mobile devices, raised $32m led by Warburg Pincus, with participation from Samsung, Lazarus, and Sierra Ventures
  • Weka.IO, a next-generation storage solution, raised $32m from Qualcomm, Norwest, and Gemini
  • Trax, a SaaS image recognition and analytics solution for retailers, raised $40m from Broad Peak Master Fund
  • SundaySky, a video marketing automation platform raised $30m from Viola, Norwest, Comcast, Carmel, and DoCoMo capital

iAngels Weekly Deal Digest – June 2nd, 2016

After last week’s $363m funding frenzy, this week was also quite robust, with $95.5m invested across multiple stages

Seed Rounds

  • MetaData, a prospecting tool for B2B marketers raised a $2m seed round, led by Hillsven, with participation from 500 Startups, Greycroft, and RSCM
  • BioBeat, a medical device company focused on remote monitoring of abnormalities, raised a $1m seed round from undisclosed investor
  • CallVU, a mobile engagement tool for Telecoms, raised a $3m seed round, led by Liberty Global Ventures, with participation from 2B Angels, NICE, AfterDox, and Blue Ocean

 

Series A Rounds

  • Lostmy.name, a tool for parents to create personalized storybooks for their children, extended its $9m Series A round by $4.5m, with Project A Ventures the only new investor

 

Growth Rounds

  • WalkMe, an enterprise application helping increase sales and conversions through on-screen guidance, now valued at $400m, raised a $50m Series E led by Insight Venture Partners, with participation from Gemini, Giza, Mangrove, and Scale Venture Partners
  • Signals Intelligence Group, a cloud-based BI tool to help corporates develop new products now valued at $125m, raised a $10m Series C round, led by Qumra Capital, with participation from Sequoia and TPY Capital
  • EarlySense, a continuous patient monitoring solution, now valued at $325m, raised a $25m Series F, led by Bank Hapoalim, with participation from Samsung, Pitango, Mitsui, and Bridge Investment Fund

This week was a significant funding week in Israel, with a total of $363m in recorded investment, the bulk of which came from the Gett/VW deal ($300m)

  • Continuse, a biometric security solution, raised a $1m seed round from Lenovo Group, Tyco, and Olive Tree
  • Hoopa music and social entertainment app developer, raised a$2m seed round from The Sovereign Group and private investors 

Series A Rounds

  • Invest.com, an alternative investment platform, raised a $20m Series A round from existing investor Singulariteam.
  • Demistoa cybersecurity response and forensics startupraised a$6m Series A led by Accel with participation from private investors.
  • Sensifree, a sensor company targeting mobile fitness and healthcare, raised a $5m Series A round, led by Translink Capitalwith participation from Samsung, UMC Capital, and Benjamin Zeevi
  • Votiro, a cybersecurity company focused on Zero-Day attacks, raised a $4m Series A from Redfield Asset Management and private investors

Growth Rounds

    • Getta cab-hailing startup with operations across some 60 cities, raised a $300m Growth round from Volkswagen
