Gigi Levy-Weiss is one of iAngels’ lead investors, as well as a mentor and spokesperson on the Israeli tech scene and Israeli angel investing.
As a former entrepreneur and CEO of several fast-growth Israeli tech companies, Gigi brings over ten years experience in gaming, online entertainment, applications, advertising and digital marketing.
During his tenure as CEO of gaming giant, 888 Holdings, Gigi transformed the company into a FTSE-traded online gaming entertainment and solutions provider with annual turnover of $400 million. Prior to this, Gigi served as Division President for the global Israeli software company, Amdocs, in Europe and Latin America.
Gigi used his skill as board member and investor to grow Playtika from early-stage to an exit of over $150 million in less than a year. He was a seed investor at Kenshoo and Plarium, both now valued at over $1 billion, and has made many more profitable exits over the last 5 years, including Crossrider, acquired for $37 million.
Gigi is an active board member at MEET (Middle East Education through Technology) and serves as a client advisory council member for Facebook. At Tel Aviv University, Gigi is on the advisory board of the Technology Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship MBA. He is founding partner of NFX Guild in Tel Aviv and Silicon Valley and also a former pilot with the Israeli Air Force.
